Shipping Policy

Decee Trading (Pty) Ltd supplies a wide range of industrial, mining, engineering, lifting, conveyor, electrical, and workshop products. Due to the varied size, weight, and handling requirements of our products, shipping methods and costs may differ depending on the items ordered.

This Shipping Policy explains how delivery charges, processing times, and freight arrangements are handled.

1. Delivery Area

We currently deliver throughout South Africa.

At this time, we do not offer international shipping through our website. International enquiries may be considered upon request.

2. Order Processing

Orders are processed during normal business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).

Processing times may vary depending on:

Stock availability;
Supplier lead times;
Payment confirmation;
Order complexity; and
Whether the products are stocked or specially sourced.

Orders are only processed once payment has been successfully received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Shipping Methods

Depending on the products purchased, we may use different delivery methods.

These include:

Standard courier delivery;
Road freight;
Pallet freight;
Dedicated transport; or
Collection by arrangement.

The most suitable delivery method will be selected based on the size, weight, destination, and nature of the products ordered.

4. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated based on factors including:

Product dimensions;
Weight;
Delivery location;
Courier rates; and
Freight requirements.

The applicable delivery charge will be displayed during checkout where possible or communicated to the customer before dispatch.

5. Heavy and Oversized Products

Many of the products supplied by Decee Trading—including mining, lifting, conveyor, engineering, and industrial equipment—cannot be shipped using standard courier services.

For oversized, heavy, palletised, or specialised freight items:

Delivery charges may be quoted separately;
Additional lead times may apply;
Special transport arrangements may be required; and
Dispatch will only proceed once any applicable freight charges have been accepted by the customer.

Where a quotation has been issued, freight costs may be included separately within that quotation.

6. Free Shipping

From time to time, Decee Trading may offer free shipping promotions on qualifying orders.

Unless specifically stated otherwise:

Free shipping applies only to eligible standard parcel orders;
Heavy, oversized, palletised, freight, special-order, and certain industrial products may be excluded from free shipping promotions; and
Decee Trading reserves the right to determine whether an order qualifies for free delivery.

Any applicable minimum purchase value or promotional conditions will be displayed on our website at the time of purchase.

7. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times vary depending on:

Product availability;
Supplier lead times;
Delivery location;
Courier performance; and
Freight arrangements.

Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith and should not be regarded as guaranteed delivery dates.

8. Delivery Delays

While every reasonable effort is made to deliver orders promptly, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

Supplier delays;
Courier delays;
Adverse weather;
Industrial action;
Public holidays;
Remote delivery locations; or
Other unforeseen events.

Decee Trading shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party carriers or events beyond our reasonable control.

9. Order Inspection

Customers should inspect their delivery as soon as reasonably possible.

If goods arrive damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please notify Decee Trading promptly and provide photographs where applicable.

Failure to report obvious delivery issues within a reasonable time may affect the remedies available.

10. Delivery Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.

Additional delivery charges may apply if:

An incorrect address is provided;
Delivery cannot be completed due to customer error;
Redelivery is required; or
Goods are returned to us by the courier.

11. Collection

Where available, customers may collect orders directly from Decee Trading or another agreed collection point.

Collection arrangements must be confirmed in advance.

Valid identification or proof of purchase may be required before goods are released.

12. Risk and Ownership

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the nominated delivery address or collection by the customer or their authorised representative.

Ownership of the goods remains with Decee Trading until payment has been received in full.
