The FCU Constant Filling Fluid Coupling is designed for use with fixed-speed motors to provide light-load starting, smooth acceleration and effective overload protection for both motors and driven equipment.
By allowing the motor to quickly reach operating speed, the fluid coupling enables the motor's overload capacity to be used efficiently during machine starting, often allowing a smaller motor size to be selected.
